FEMA’s O&O Policy limits eligible emergency protective measures in response to COVID-19 to specific measures, including the purchase and distribution of PPE, cleaning and disinfecting, COVID-19 diagnostic testing, screening and temperature scanning, and the purchase and installation of temporary physical barriers. The cost of tents to create temporary facilities to facilitate social distancing are not eligible work under FEMA’s COVID-19 policies.
FEMA finds the Applicant has not demonstrated renting tents for additional dining space is an eligible emergency protective measures under FEMA’s COVID-19 policies. Therefore, this appeal is denied.
