FEMA may provide PA funding to a local government for the repair of a public facility damaged by a declared major disaster. The applicant is responsible for providing documentation to support its claim as eligible and show the work was required to address damage caused directly by the incident. The Applicant has not demonstrated that the damage was a direct result of the disaster, as it has not demonstrated or distinguished what damage may have existed pre disaster from any post disaster damage.
FEMA finds that the Applicant has not demonstrated that the damage was a direct result of the declared incident, therefore, the appeal is denied.
